Cadet Programs
Get Fast Tracked to Major Airlines
A cadet program is a training pipeline run by or in partnership with an airline to take people from zero or low flight experience all the way to flying as a First Officer for that airline.
These programs are structured, often with guaranteed interviews or job placements if you complete everything successfully.

So after graduating, instead of going into flight instructor or charter service then regional airlines, you could join a cadet program to get recruited right away.

Timeline
The time line is very similar to what you'll have if you take the traditional route.
Cadet programs provide a structured training programs designed by the airlines themselves. It mean you'll be mentored by real pilots, and met likely have a guaranteed position - normally a first officer - in the airline after you complete the course. You'll be preferred over none-cadet applicants throughout your career as well, meaning easier promotions.
If your goal as a pilot is to work your way up the ranks to captain and obtain maximum salary, cadet programs would be your best chance. However, there are some downsides such as:
-Less Flexibility: You will be able to change airlines later in your career, but you'll most likely end up in the airline you took the cadet with in the start.
-More Financial Effort: Thought there are financial supports, cadet programs are still not cheap!
-Delayed Income: When you could be getting paid as a CFI or for charter services, you'll be paying to take cadet programs instead.

Cadet programs certainly provide more opportunities but not everyone can or should take them. It'll be important to know what you need and want and decide for yourself.
